Alrighty. I have a new pet-project I'm SUPER STOKED about... Gerard and the HypnogirlZ!! So, at first we just had a little rinky-dink group page on Myspace where we'd come one and post stuff and Gerard was cool enough to do a Q&A with us and etc...
Well, NOW I decided it'd be easier to just put together a whole Myspace PROFILE page for the Hypnogirlz... It's still a work in progress, but I'm kinda liking it!

Alright, this is a little bit of a rant, so I apologize in advance to anyone who has NO idea what's going on, and it's not directed towards anyONE in particular... just thoughts!!
You know what REALLY dissapoints me? The Loyal UglyBug... Thats what I call the little green jealousy monster that some Loyals can't seem to contain when something good happens to someone else. I know the Majority of us are SUPER supportive and genuinely STOKED for eachother when one of us has something awesome happen, be it, being filmed for the show, meeting Criss (for the 1st,5th, or 15th time!) Winning something... whatever. But recently it's been brought to my attention that there are a few of us out there who REALLY don't know how to just BE NICE. More than anything, it hurts my feelings... I mean, I COULD be P*ssed that someone has decided to attack me personally, but I'm not. I'm more SAD.
Sad that some parent, who has NO IDEA what this "Criss Angel guy" is all about, is going to come onto the boards, or the chats, or Myspace,(or where ever) while trying to decide if this is something THEIR CHILD should be allowed to be "into", and see some of us being kinda hateful... It really doesn't reflect well on Criss, or "The Loyal" as a whole.
Criss is obviously SO PROUD to have such amazing fans (remember, he made it a point to mention us during his self described "biggest day in his career"...) I just wish sometimes we'd take that initiative and be proud of EACHOTHER...
Now, granted, as I said, this does not apply to everyone, or even ALMOST everyone... But the select few that My happiness has apparently offended... I apologize I guess. It seems to me that "Loyal" must mean something different to ME than it does to YOU, and for that I am sorry...

So, as Bryce started counting down from 35 seconds, Felix Rappaport took the stage and introduced Criss, who we could already see walking towards the stage. Criss came up on stage and said how excited he was to announce that his dream had come true, and that he was confirming YES, he IS doing a show with Cirque du Soleil at the Luxor. Again, TEARS... And once they started, they only got worse, as he introduced His mom and Costa, and gave "The Speech" about coming from nothing and how blessed he was to have such amazing fans...Then he introduced the lady from the channel 3 news, (who really is GORGEOUS in person!) and told her that he wanted her to help him select the winner of the tickets to his Show... They started picking people, saying they wanted Loyals..So of course I raised my hand. Criss came over to us on the side of the stage, and said "does anyone have, like, a Crazy tattoo?" and the lady with his face on her arm and I started waving our hands. He noticed us and said "we've used you ladies on the show..." but he picked the lady with his face anyways. At that point, I thought they'd be done picking people, since they had 4 already,(including ZOHRA!) but Criss came BACK over to us, Pointed at ME and said "and I want YOU too." and grabbed my hand. Next thing I know I am ON STAGE with Criss, on the "biggest day in his career"... This was TOO much. Criss had the news lady ask us all the same question "What would it mean to you, as a Loyal, to be one of the very first people in the WORLD to get to see Criss's Live show?"
I was first. she put the mike in my face and the only thing I could do was cry. (yeah, I'm a big baby!) I rattled off something about how blessed I felt to even be HERE for this announcement. I knew how much this meant to Criss and I couldn't even describe how much it meant to ME to, in some TINY way, be able to share it with him. At that point, I looked over at Criss and he was lookin' at me and smiling. I also mentioned Nate, and that he's in Afghanastan, and that getting to do this together would be a great treat not only for me, but for him too..
The other girls said their piece too, and it was time for her to pick a winner. Criss asked her to whisper in his ear who SHE thought should win. She did, and he said, "Ok Wait, Let's see what we're going to do.." and went over to whisper with Felix Rappaport. He came back over to the front of the stage and asked her to say out loud who she was going to pick. She said The Lady with the face tattoo and.. ME. Criss kinda looked at us and said "well, this is where I pull the Trump card... Thanks to Mr. Felix Rappaport, You're ALLLL winning 2 tickets to my show and Hotel accomodations!!" AGAIN, Cue the tears... we all thanked Criss, hugged, and thanked Mr.Rappaport on the way off the stage. We gave our info to The Luxor employee (I Think his name was Tim, he's a Marketing guy..) and we were told to wait to do our interviews. Criss was presented with a Commerative plaque (with pictures from season 1 and season 2, among other things...) He said a few more words and came off stage to say hi, and congratulate us. We all got hugs and said thanks to him again. He let us know that we probably weren't winning tickets to "opening night" but that it'd be during the first week or so. he said he'd see us at the signing, and then he was off...
After doing our interviews for MindFreak about what just hapened, and how we felt about winning the tickets, we headed down to the signing... I met back up with Tina and Heaven and Brandy and we all kinda hung out. At this point, I noticed my Criss Angel VIP card was MISSING... I was SUPER upset, but I figured at this point, I couldn't be toooo mad about ANYTHING, based on what had jjust happened.
Criss finally came down about an hour later, and when it was my turn, I went up and he congratulated me again, and I congratulated HIM, and thanked him, not only for the tickets, but for allowing me to share this day with him, and told him how Blessed I felt to be his fan. He smiled, gave me a hug and said "If anyone should feel blessed it's Me.." and we took my picture and that was it..(at some point he also asked if I was 21 because you have to be to win the tickets...)
And that was the last of my "Criss encounters" during Loyal Week.
(Friday they left to go shoot in the F*in DESERT...) :)
All in all, I'd say as a fan, it couldn't have gotten ANY BETTER (barring Criss giving me a Kidney if I needed one.. heehee!)
I feel SOOO Lucky to have had the experiences at the Luxor that I've had, and I can't WAIT to see Criss's Cirque Du Soleil show!
