I went to the renaissance faire with my best friend yesterday, and we just happened to be there on the same day as Hugh Hefner and the Girls Next Door Holly, Bridget and Kendra! They were super sweet, and I got some really great pictures! I took one with Kendra, but I didnt realize the Zoom was on, and so you can only see part of each of our faces :) but it was really cool to meet all of them!

So, I just got back from the signing... it's been a LONG day, but all in all it went well. I'm glad Jordan got to see Criss, although he was more interested in playing with all the stuff on the counter Criss was standing behing than actually Looking at the camera for his pic... but thats ok. I'm SO glad I got to go with Loyal Tink and her hubby... they're SO fun and we have a LOT in common, so it was a nice afternoon.
Criss looked kinda tired, or possibly just had SUCH a full plate with all the signings and Oprah and etc. he did thank everyone in the first group for coming and accepted everyone's gifts (and seemed to LOVE the gift Maggie got him!) :)
Although the time with him was short, I got to give him the "usual" bottle of Jack and he laughed and seemed to appreciate it! He LOVED Jordan in the MindFreak in training T-shirt and was like, "ohhhh Baby MindFreak!" so that was cool. I also met up with Zohra and her brother, and Aricelli and Gitana! It was a nice evening and I'm sleepy now, so here's some pics! Book Soup window display

Today was SO fun... In a random way! I went to Hollywood with my best friend Megan to check out Book Soup and to pick up my ticket for the booksigning (and my 3rd copy of "Secret Reveations")... I'm kinda excited now! The venue is kinda small, but it'll give it a really intimate feeling I think. The people at the store itself seem really laid back and I hope the whole day just runs smooth!
Can't wait to see everyone there who's going... I'll have my son with me too.. he'll be the mini-Mindfreak with the mo-hawk! :) see you all Monday!! yay!

So, I just finished my SECOND read of Criss's book, and I absolutely CAN'T get through the chapter on His Father without Crying.. (Why am I SUCH a SISSY?) It truly is amazing to hear this "larger than life" man who we all kinda look up to, talking about his family and revealing that side of him that most people wouldnt even know existed.
After a LOT of self reflection, I have decided to make some MAJOR changes in My Life- and I really owe a LOT of the insperation for that motivation to this book. Not that I havent said it before, but this man is AMAZING wether he wants to admit it or not, and I can honestly say that he is one of the few people Ive ever known that make me proud to belong to the Human race. If more people adopted his ideals, I believe, This world would truly be a better place.
That being said, I can't WAIT for the Book Soup Book signing!! I'm goin' with Zohra, so it should be a BLAST!!!
